MULTIMEGAPIXEL CAMERAS FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE APPLICATIONS

J2KVideo’s SVC-3 series; multi-MegaPixel video cameras are designed specifically for demanding applications in professional video recording, high security, military, scientific research and industrial process monitoring. The SharpView SVC-3 series cameras are currently available in 3 MegaPixel and 5 MegaPixel resolutions.

Utilising the latest in multi-megapixel progressive scan sensor technology and advanced hardware digital compression, J2KV’s SharpView cameras provide unrivaled image sharpness and quality and the fastest image capture for given pixel densities in the industry.

Ultra high resolution pictures delivered at high image rates can effectively replace between 15 to 25 standard TV cameras (depending on the SharpView Camera selected). So with the use of a wide angle lens, a suitably placed SharpView camera can eliminate the need for expensive PTZ mechanisms and continual operator control in for example town centre security applications.

SharpView SVC-3 series include variable image capture to allow the user to select priority for either image quality (resolution) or image rates. Aspect ratio can be configured to meet the requirements of the area under surveillance.

Panoramic wide-screen views allow for optimum coverage of large sites.

Image sensors used in the SharpView Camera range provide greater pixel depth (30-bit RGB) and high dynamic range signal to noise ratio ensuring the best video quality is obtained from the cameras.

Video is output across 100Mbps Fast Ethernet interface as motion-JPEG compressed images. RJ45 socket is provided as standard. Transmission over 75 ohm coaxial cable via BNC connector is available on request.

Advanced features (available on selected models on request) include motion detection with configurable sensitivity in multiple zones, privacy masking, on-board pre-record functionality, DC-iris control, night vision monochrome and built-in infra-red illumination (up to 60m).

SharpView SVC-3 series cameras are supplied in an IP65 compliant weatherproof housing with a removable sun-shield.

The power and video signal cables are managed through the housing bracket and all fixings for wall mounting are supplied.

SharpView cameras are built to a robust standard without compromise in any of the materials used and are unsurpassed in quality, reliability and performance.

Optional infra-red LED provide illumination up to 60 meters away.
