J2K Video’s SharpView products have been installed at CityPoint by Unique Security Solutions.

The largest office complex in City of London now boasts the highest performance video security system following the upgrade of part of it’s 160 cameras CCTV system.

Utilising the latest in multi-megapixel technology J2KV’s SharpView System has been installed to provide unrivalled image sharpness and evidential quality video recordings.

Ultra high resolution video pictures delivered at high image rates from the SharpView SVC-1E5M0 cameras, each provide the equivalent quality of 25 standard CCTV cameras from key locations to secure the building’s surroundings.  Panoramic wide-screen views allow for optimum coverage of this large site’s courtyard area where several restaurants and bars are located that serve over 3,000 people using the building.

The General Manager for CityPoint said of the system “we are constantly on the look out for advances in technology that will improve the security of our assets and occupants, the SharpView solution provides images that are so clear that there is never any doubt about the identity of subjects caught on SharpView cameras. We have replaced several older PAL cameras to make way for what we believe to be the right video solution for us.”

The video is recorded on a SharpView rack mount server and we can connect to the whole network from a superb MAC based SharpView Workstation over the Gigabit Ethernet Network and the quality of video is just outstanding”.
